with the end of "split second" drama

The HK drama - "Split Second (争分夺秒)", a joint production between the Hong Kong and Thai TV crews ended on a heartbreaking and melancholy tone.

I would say the ending was a little disappointing comparing to all the climax and anticipation one experienced as the story enfolded.
This extremely fast-paced and pulsating cop & gangster drama was the station blockbuster for Hong Kong’s TVB in 2004. While some would call it the TV version of the movie hit "Infernal Affairs", others liken it to be a similar version of that to the United States’ top-rated drama "24". While each episode of "24" is an hour in the drama’s storyline , in "Split Second" each episode is one day ending each episode at 12:00 am...

After a long chase (30 days) of it, the top 10 stuffs I picked up from it are:

1. One's actions are governed by one's own thoughts
(there was this quote which was used more than a couple of times in the last few episode but my memory is simply failing me..i will try to find it and post it)
2. There is a thin line between the RIGHT and WRONG
3. There is such thing as retribution! and these things came sooner than you thought
4. Good men live a short live while the Baddies enjoy living to ripe age

5. Gang Leaders may not necessary fall for beautiful sexy women. They do fall for the "plain jane" type. And they remained faithful throughout
6. Chinese language is universal, used world wide
(so no harm learning it, at least be able to use it for communication)
7. Thailand has many "powerful" saint-like-monks who can predict quite accurate prophecies!
8. If you want to escape to "a place where no one can recognise you" (quoted from the drama), THAILAND is the place! yeh
9. Thailand is such a nice beautiful country with many sceneric places while Hongkong is rather a busy bustling full of crime place.
10. Life is short. Live to fullest
And in this age where guns are easily available, it is vital that we stay alive and make use of this precious treasure of ours to the fullest advantage!
