being romatic

I have learnt that..most of the time, in guys..there is not much Romanticism in their life..perhaps..to them ..I think romanticism is not about doing something, but being together with someone he love and waking up to see her everyday..being with her..is a way of being romantic :D

hoat la..??!

Maybe..
Maybe God put a LOT bad people in your life,
so when the right one came along you'd be thankful...
you'd be joyful for the happiness you going to get...
but in the mean time..get hurt..pick up..get hurt again...over n over again..lessons learnt..yet repeated..

The Mouse Trap

A story I would like to share:

The Mouse Trap

A mouse looked through the crack in the wall to see the farmer and his wife open a
package.
What food might this contain?"

The mouse wondered - he was devastated to discover it was a mousetrap. Retreating to the
farmyard, the mouse proclaimed the warning. There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a
mousetrap in the house!"
The chicken clucked and scratched, raised her head and said, "Mr. Mouse, I can tell this
is a grave concern to you, but it is of no consequence to me. I cannot be bothered by it."

The mouse turned to the pig and told him, "There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a
mousetrap in the house!" The pig sympathized, but said, "I am so very sorry, Mr. Mouse,
but there is nothing I can do about it but pray. Be assured you are in my prayers." The
mouse turned to the cow and said "There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap
in the house!" The cow said, "Wow, Mr. Mouse. I'm sorry for you, but it's no skin off my
nose."

So, the mouse returned to the house, head down and dejected, to face the farmer's
mousetrap alone.

That very night a sound was heard throughout the house - like the sound of a mousetrap
catching its prey. The farmer's wife rushed to see what was caught. In the darkness, she
did not see it was a venomous snake whose tail the trap had caught. The snake bit the
farmer's wife. The farmer rushed her to the hospital, and she returned home with a fever.
Everyone knows you treat a fever with fresh chicken soup, so the farmer took his hatchet
to the farmyard for the soup's main ingredient.
But his wife's sickness continued, so friends and neighbors came to sit with her around
the clock. To feed them, the farmer butchered the pig.
The farmer's wife did not get well; she died. So many people came for her funeral; the
farmer had the cow slaughtered to provide enough meat for all of them.

The mouse looked upon it all from his crack in the wall with great sadness.
>>
The next time you hear someone is facing a problem and think it doesn't concern you,
remember :
when one of us is threatened, we are all at risk. We are all involved in this journey called life.

We must keep an eye out for one another and make an extra effort to
encourage and help one another.

"Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them." - The Dalai Lama

so u think u are clever?

A stranger was seated next to a little girl on the airplane when the stranger turned to her and said,... 'Let's talk. I've heard that flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passenger.'
The little girl, who had just opened her book, closed it slowly and said to the stranger,
'What would you like to talk about?''Oh, I don't know,' said the stranger. '
How about nuclear power?' and he smiles.
'OK,' she said. 'That could be an interesting topic. But let me ask you a question first. A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same stuff - grass - Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a flat patty, and a horse produces clumps of dried grass. Why do you suppose that is?'
The stranger, visibly surprised by the little girl's intelligence,
thinks about it and says, 'Hmmm, I have no idea.'
To which the little girl replies, 'Do you really feel qualified to discuss nuclear power when you don't know shit?

the 5B's of singapore

Most of you would have heard of the Singapore 5C's! :
Car, Condo, Credit Card (Gold), Cash and Career

Heard of the 5B's?
>
> B - BMW
>
> B - Body
>
> B - Brain
>
> B - Billionaire
>
> B - Bungalow

above message is one which i receive from a friend.
whoever thought of this 5 "B"s..must be super materialistic..

give a little..

Kindly words,
sympathizing attentions,
watchfulness against wounding men's sensitiveness--
these cost very little,
but they are priceless in their value..

do we have a deal? :O

Just a poem I wish to share..
Coz in life, with regrets, come the desire to seek frogiveness..but then..
Is it easy to do so....hmm

~
You ask for my forgiveness but I would like to seek yours too:

You forgive me for finding you so eye-catching,
And I’ll forgive you for not noticing me.

You forgive me for liking you too much,
And I’ll forgive you for not liking me enough.

You forgive me for the loud racing of my heart,
And I’ll forgive you for not hearing it.

You forgive me for missing you so much,
And I’ll forgive you for being so cold.

You forgive me for raising you up so high.
And I’ll forgive you for bringing me down so low.

You forgive me for wanting to be with you,
And I’ll forgive you for avoiding me.

You forgive me for wanting your attention,
And I’ll forgive you for being so indifference towards me.

You forgive me for praying and wishing you to turn to me,
And I’ll forgive you for being turning to her.

You forgive me for playing your games,
And I’ll forgive your for toying with my emotions.

You forgive me for wanting to know how you are getting on,
And I’ll forgive you for cutting contact with me.

You forgive me for being a victim,
And I’ll forgive you for being the initiator.

You forgive me for having hopes and dreams,
And I’ll forgive you for crushing them.

You forgive me for being so pathetic,
And I’ll forgive you for taking advantage of it.

You forgive me for being so desperate,
And I’ll forgive you for enjoying having the upper hand.

You forgive me for being so loss,
And I’ll forgive you for having known she is the one you wanted.

You forgive me for not being able to let go,
And I’ll forgive you for never having latched on.

It seems that forgiveness brings inner peace, forgiveness brings serenity
So do we have a deal?

trust lil germans to tink of such eloping plans

At such tender age, these little german kidos..actually came up with plans to go to Africa for wedding! The budding lovebirds, the 6-year-old Mika and his 5-year-old sweetheart Anna-Bell Mika put the dream that has been shared by lovers across the centuries – the chance to elope to exotic lands, into reality. They even had the presence of mind to invite along an official witness - Anna-Lena's 7-year-old sister. The three got only to Hanover railway station before police intervened and put their plan to a stop.
These children have proven something ,..that its never too little or too young to fall in love..and go for your dreams..hee

economy is bad.
real bad.
really bad.
And when it hits you or any of the closed frens or love ones you know..
what will you do?
what can you do?
How will you react?
What can you do to help?
What is the next ultimate step one can take?

Retrenchment (删除)...indeed a word people are so afraid of!
sigh :(

hope that all those i know can hold on to their job tightly and sit comfortably at their office each day without any worries of losing job or replacement.
