pls be considerate!

I believe strongly that when someone seeks help from another, it is only because she or he is in real need of someone's assistance to aid her in someway or something. it is only being helpless and desperate that one would approach for help.
Coz I have met not just once but on a few occasions of people who simply lack that "goodness" in them! these inconsiderate people, if can't lend a helping hand, will not take the initiative to inform the help-seeker. They will wait till last minute when the seeker simply is at the desperate stage, say a word or two of apology for their incapability. They will not however inform the person before hand if they could not help. Neither will they reply sms nor answer call of the seeker. I was wondering why these people has to be so "evil-minded" as to simply ignore the seeker. Surely if they are busy, there is always a time to inform the desperate party either by text message or a call or a mail. if they could do that in time, then I m sure the seeker would have ample time to seek out help in other ways or approach another person. Because of these people i wonder how much time will be wasted, how much effort will be gone down the drain, how much agony and worry one has to bear just because someone simply choose to ignore despite their promise. i m sure if one cant keep the promise no matter how major or minor is the word of promise, one should inform the involved party so that other arrangement can be made. i really could not understand why people choose to act in a cowardly manner, using such inconsiderate tactics in order for them to reject away the earlier offer of help.
Thus i call on to those who are being asked to help to inform the seeker earlier, as early as possible if one cant commit himself or herself to help out...
please please don't cause any trouble for others by simply ignoring the other party because you never know how much harm you can bring by your inconsideration. and well you never know when you might need help some day.. don't you agree?
