it doesn't matter - - Kay Sah Ma She Bu
The award-winning [Winner of “Best Music Video” in the Bare Bones Film Festival of 2006 and recently won the Erase Hate-Promote Tolerance at the Tulsa Script-2-Screen Film Festival]!This music video is about a Clinton native who expresses his heartfelt appreciation for the culture of Myanmar (Burma), shot completely in the country. He expresses his heart felt appreciation for the culture of Myanmar (Burma). All the video footage was taken in Myanmar and woven into the lyrics of this original song for the People of Myanmar (Burma).
sang by John Handley (aka U Jon Gyi) who has a burmese wife, introduced by Dr Soe :
i wonder why is it that for those who are not locals (burmese) can feel for our motherland and yet why our own burmese people can remain indifference and make profit out of donations..for the victims?! ..
but whatever it is i believe that despite all these, it doesn't matter at all..
..there is a time..for everything, when..retributions will come, when debts will be paid, freedom will be obtained and most importantly our country will be prosperious once more..!

when a woman LOVES
From the Heart of Woman -When a women loves,
Labels:
love,
Me think..
soul touching poem by unknown poet !
Burma's Non-Political Flood
Water, water, all around me
But I am so..so… thirsty.
Here, there, human bodies' everywhere
But none alive accompany me and share.
And I look at myself
Broken hopes and empty handed.
And I look further around
Just like a post heavy-battled ground.
Wild cyclone has wiped all things down.
Where are those kids from innocent playground?
Where are students in the green and white uniform?
Where is my town always singing along country rock songs?
Where are my mates who search for freedom and independent?
Where are those local chicks with new-leaf-color lips?
Where are those parents with a too busy habit?
All my questions disappear,
All my answers whisper…and whisperer.
Collaborated disaster of the nature and the dictator!
And I constantly hear voices from my empty stomach
Asking me food, forcing me speak out and stand up.
I silently speak with my loudest, to the entire world
Then mankind's sympathies come and knock my door.
Let me now open my door'
Cause those sympathies will help to fix my wounded floor.
Let me invite them with an open heart'
Cause those sympathies will help my life reconstruct.
Hello Mr. militarists,
Your guns are currently useless,
My demands are urgently needed,
Here, I'm alive, not a corpse yet,
Neither much time left.
Together, let's work out as a nice diplomat!
(Dedicated To My Mother And People Of Burma Who Lost Lives AndWho Are Hardly Survived Under Both Natural And Political Weathers!)
this is a poem forwarded to me from a friend..i wonder who is the poet!...he or she wrote so well..i pray and hope and wish that more help will reach these victims soon..before they too die of hunger, disease and injuries..please please please..someone out there..have a heart..turn back and ...look out for them!!!

if love is true
Ah Kyin Nar Sit Yin (if love is true) - - by Sone Thin Par
Lyrics : Min Chit Thu
I was attracted to you and unknowingly landed onto the vast open sea like heart of yours
Just like wind and cloud I got caught in the web of your heart
Should I take consolation in just looking at you, my love
I am always here for you
But are you the one for me?
If love given is true and sincere,
It should be reciprocated
Believe me …
I have given you my love completely
Someday …will the love I have given, get reciprocated in similar way
Like the echoes and sound waves vibrated within the walls of mountains
In order to prevent it from disappearing into thin air,
Shouldn’t you do something about it?
Can’t you do anything else other than the love you can give silently
Can you understand that indifference and distance love is not enough for me
I am always here for you,
But are you the one for me?
If love is true, it should be reciprocated
Believe me …
I have given you my love completely
Someday …will the love I have given, get reciprocated in similar way
For love that is true, even in the absence of cupid to play match maker, shouldn’t love given sincerely be reciprocated
My future, my love, my everything, I have given you
I have given everything including my life to you
Will the love given, return?
I am always here for you,
But are you the one for me?
If the love is true, I am sure the love will be reciprocal, will I get it back too?
What is true love.. I wonder? But people has defined it to be when your own wants and needs don’t matter to you as long as that person is happy and alright, and that you care for them more than you care for yourself, with the self sacrificing mindset that you rather make them happy then yourself happy. Perhaps this basic word takes up different definition for everyone. For me, love is going through life passing each day with him, be it in thoughts or hands in hands (that would be metaphorically of course)! Love is when you stick by him, still willing to be with him more than anyone else even though you get to meet many others who are better than him in terms of looks, financial status or the way you are being treated. Love is being there for him whenever you can. Love is being comfortable with him, being truthful, staying faithful and most of all, trusting enough to tell him anything and everything about yourself including things that you are ashamed of or things you feel inferior of. Love is knowing you can depend on him and find a sense of security. Love is when you he looks so appealing and manly to you despite all his weakness and bad habits.
I feel that since he is the person closet to me next to my own parents, I would want him to be there for me when I celebrate in happiness, when I cries in sadness, when I am desperate for help, when I am at lost, when I am in trouble! Similarly, I would want to be there for him physically, or spiritually. In this hi-tech ever growing and ever fast forwarding age, communication is fast and easy while transportation is even more accessible. I am sure if you love someone, you would have her in your mind and that regardless of any situation or circumstances, you would be there for her. At least try to be there for her. Isn’t it?
And yet once again I feel guilty for not being there for him. It has been twice on which both occasions, I felt that I had let him down. In times of when he needed me, I wasn’t there for him. And I feel so apologetic yet I did not do anything about it except for the apology which I can offer profusely. I cried for my action and behavior but I was not there for him on all three days. I wonder if this is a sign or indication. But whatever it is, the truth is that I wasn’t there for him. And that according to him, I have blocked his future by being indecisive and not being able to let go. I wonder
Only those who have been let down can understand how bad it felt and how hurting it can be. Of course expectations need to be lowered and consideration of circumstance and situation one is in has to be made. But still when it is the one closest to you let you down, that is the point where it hurts most. They left deep emotional scar in the heart and many a times, memories despite with time do not age away.

hear no evil..see no devil..
At times, it is better to be ignorance. Practice the art of selective listening and reading. There will surely be people out there purposely wanting to disrupt the peaceful life we lead..
well, ignore them, treat their words and actions with a sensor sieving out the badies and listening to the goodies.. we will get peace of mind..no more “arkhu toe” Yeh!
So..what to do, but practice practice and more practice on the ART of Ignorance!
Just..xxxx them..yeh!

Under the Banyan Tree
Under the Banyan Tree: Open Air Cinema
where : Stamford Garden, National Museum of Singaporetime
time: 8.00 pm (free admission)
30 May (Fri) – Hong Kong Nocturne (香江花月夜)
In this raucous and dazzling musical directed by one of Shaw Brothers’ most distinctive filmmakers, three beautiful sisters play out their trials and tribulations in the entertainment business. Dir: Inoue Umetsugu. 1967. Hong Kong. 128 mins. PG. Hsi Chang, Paul Chang, Hsin Yen Chao, Kang-Yeh Cheng. In Mandarin with English subtitles.
31 May (Sat) – Come Drink With Me (大醉俠;)
Posing as the errant knight Golden Swallow, Xiyan (Cheng) sets out to rescue her brother, an official held hostage by the Five Tiger Gang; she is aided, at first obliquely, by the beggar Drunken Cat (Yueh), who leads a rag-tag troupe of kids (great haircuts!) who sing for small change. He is actually Fan Dabei, a ‘drunken master’ in retreat since the murder of his teacher, and the plot shift occurs when he realises that the gang’s mastermind is the traitor who did the foul deed.
Enjoy!

Thermodynamics?of HELL?
The following is a short story which was forwarded from a Friend..sure is funny..the way the student try to explain logically for something which seem unexplanable..:P
~ Thermodynamics of Hell ~
The following is one of Dr. Schalmbaugh's Final Test questions for May 1997. (Dr. Schalmbaugh, University of Oklahoma School of Chemical Engineering is known for asking questions such as this on his final exams.)
May 1997, Momentum, Heat and Mass Transfer II Final Exam Question:
"Is hell exothermic or endothermic? Support your answer with truth.''
___________________________________________________________________
Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law or some variant. One student, however, wrote the following:
"First, we postulate that if souls exist, then they must have some mass. If they do, then a mole of souls can also have a mass. So, at what rate are souls moving into hell and at what rate are souls leaving?
I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for souls entering hell, lets look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to hell. Since there are more than one of these religions and people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all people and all souls go to hell.
With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in hell to increase exponentially.
Now, we look at the rate of change in volume in hell. Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in hell to stay the same, the ratio of the mass of souls and volume needs to stay constant.
Case 1: If hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter hell, then the temperature and pressure in hell will increase until all hell breaks loose.
Case 2: If hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until hell freezes over.
So which is it? If we accept the postulate given to me by Theresa Banyan during my freshman year, "it will be a cold night in hell before I sleep with you" and take into account the fact that I still have NOT succeeded in having sexual relations with her, then case 2 cannot be true.
Thus, hell is exothermic."
The student, Tim Graham, got the only A.

with metta...happy Vesak day!
Vesak Day, being one of the most important days in the Buddhist calendar is celebrated world wide. It is marked with great ceremonial ritual, commemorates the birth and enlightenment of Buddha and his entry into Nirvana. Yet, even as this significant event is being celebrated by Buddhists throughout the world, we remember with deep sorrow those who have been devastated by recent natural disasters – the tropical cyclone Nargis in Myanmar and the earthquake in Sichuan, China. Let us help alleviate the plight of the suffering, perhaps with a simple act of donation or prayer, or even a kind word...

what have they done ?
Someone or that particular community whose believe is so extreme and whose thirst for power and control is so immense that he/they will sacrifice anything and do anything, not allowing any obstacles on the ladder to success and achievement of yet more authority and power. Perhaps he who is more vindictive than Hitler, manages to “employ” (or rather refuse to issue warnings) natural disaster to create a massacre. A massive loss of lives ranging from young, old or even monks. The ugly truth is slowly unveiling and with each precious moment, things are getting from bad to worse.

happy..mother's day
Mother’s day fall on second Sunday of the month May.
I like the month May and I usually associate it with mothers. Coincidently, in Burmese, mothers are termed as “may may”. In fact the two red letter occasions that is associated with my mothers fall on this month. One is the day to celebrate and take gratitude of our mothers and another is her birthday..
I am sorry for all the anger, frustrations, unhappiness, misery, tears and pain I have caused you.. Even if you are the source of my headache at times, no matter what I still love you..
Coz you are one of the two people who will stand by me no matter what I do, what I say or how I treat you..

Appeal to HELP Myanmar Cyclone Victims ~
In life..
all of us can’t be captains, some have to be crew.
all of us can’t be main leads, some have to play supporting roles.
all of us can't be leaders, some have to be followers.
all of us can't be bosses, some have to be subordinates.
Actually there is always something for all of us to do.
If you can’t be the sun, be a star.
If you can’t be the initiator, be a motivator.
If you can’t be the pivot factor, be the reliable factor.
It isn’t by size or sheer amount of quantity that you win or you fail.
The difference lies in just being the best at whatever you are.
Giving whatever you can afford to..

The AfterMath of CYCLONE NARGIS:
It came fast and left in a hurry as well, leaving behind a trail of thousands of dead, many homless, much destructions and waves of diseases. It took away not just the homes of the poors but the livelihood of them. The CYCLONE NARGIS has brought so much damage to the already half-battered and struggling Myanmar.
For those away in a foreign land, I am sure one can’t help but feel helpless even if there is a chance to donate either monetary or tangible things. Since such is the case, all we can do for now is to pray and hope for more help to assist these victims.

Ladies Day (29th Feb - - TOMORROW)
" The purpose of a leap year is to align the calendar year with the astronomical year.
- Every year that is divisible by 4 is a leap year;
- of those years, if it can be divided by 100, it is NOT a leap year,
- unless the year is divisible by 400. Then it is a leap year.
Leap years come but once every 4 years. And the most interesting thing about it is the traditions linking to this day. Although the versions from England and Ireland or other country may differ but the gist of it is that on Feb 29th the girl can propose to her man or the man that she has set her eyes upon. In today’s context, it can also be seen as a day meant for women to ask any men out on a date and the (chosen one) men cannot refuse for it has been known to bring bad luck on the men who reject. So ladies, if you have a special man in your life, you might want to take this chance to ask him to go on a date with you. I’m sure if the guy is nice enough, gentlemen enough and free, he wouldn’t mind the date. Ek -_* (wink) Or else, you might have to wait till 2012(the next leap year) to get another chance. I believe in trying and since this is no harm, why not have ago on this day?
p.s:Because 29th fall on Friday, perhaps not much time for a date but if you want, I think you can catch the movie “The Leap Years” by local production..with your the other half :P
There is mixture of both good and bad reviews bout it. . But the choice is yours..hope you will enjoy this day ~!

HAPPENED IN
AMERICA?????!!!!!!!!
A Saudi man walks into a bank in New York City and asks for the loan officer.
The bank officer tells him that the bank will need some form of security for the loan,
The bank's president and its officers all enjoy a good laugh at the Saudi
for using a $250,000 Ferrari as collateral against a $5,000 loan.
Two weeks later, the Saudi returns, repays the $5,000 and the interest, which comes
to $15.41. The loan officer says, 'Sir, we are very happy to have had your business, and this transaction has worked out very nicely, but we are a little puzzled. While you were away, we checked you out and found that you are a multi millionaire. What puzzles us is, why would you bother to borrow $5,000''
The Saudi replies: 'Where else in New York City can I park my precious car for two weeks for only $15.41 and expect it to be there when I return.

finding gratitude in things
I think I tend to forget how fortunate I am, to take contentment in things which I am blessed with..Even if these things which I possess be them tangible or not are not comparable to others who have more, I think I should be thankful for my share..
so..
Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire,
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?"
Be thankful when you don't know something,
For it gives you the opportunity to learn."
Be thankful for your mistakes.
They will teach you valuable lessons."
Be thankful when you're tired and weary,
Because it means you've made a difference."
So, KEEP SMILING and have a peaceful mind for each day!!!

X-factor
In love, there is neither right nor wrong. There is only what I would believe to be fate and debts. For the debts you owe in past live, you have to pay it back. For the thing done unjust to others one will be bound to suffer from retribution. And believe me, these little thing called retribution sure come back sooner than you might expect it. One will have to go through the whole cycle of sufferings to payback for those things he or she has caused and brought upon others. Well, what I am saying here is that the fact that out ex-gf/bf has hurt us in a way which we can never understand maybe because of these past live debts or a way of our own retribution..
I am not sure where I have gone wrong either but I sure don’t wish to meet another “wrong”ones. They said that every wrong one will lead me eventually to the RIGHT one but so far from the way I see the more we chanced upon, the further away we will be diverted from the right one.
Anyway erasing those memories of the bad ones may seem easy especially if one found a new one to replace the old, but the wound will stil be there..to hurt once and again..
and what can one do or react when encounter the old one someday somewhere unexpected?
So my question is:
What will you do when you meet your used-to-be boyfriend/girlfriend one day after you thought you have already erased them from both memory and delete them from the special place in your heart?
Or when you hear good news about the x with certain gal or guy marriage?
Will you turn away or will talk to them as though they were friends?
What effect will she or he have on you?
How will you feel even after the little incident of meeting him or her, by chance or by fate?
How will you receive the news of their engagement or marriage?
I believe strongly that so long he or she has even a slight effect on you imply that you have still thoughts of them. I am not sure if it would mean you might have feelings for her but one thing for sure, she/he still holds a place in your heart.
Of course, one could urge that being human as we all are with thousands and one emotions, it is only natural to feel a ting of jealous or envy or even thought of “what-if”. Indeed if these feelings are momentary, as fast as they come and go then it is normal and justifiable to do so.
But if you kept harping on this matter then I believe that you should try to forgive and forget …time it seems is a good remedy for heartache and heart break but I beg to differ.. time may help in healing but to completely mend a wound caused by love, it can only be another love for the full recovery .. to trust once again, to have faith in the happily-ever ending, to believe that everything has not been lost.. and one can love and be loved once again without any betrayal ..
I sincerely and deeply wish and pray and hope that may those who suffered from break up or betrayal find love once again …
May they have full strength to be able to face their x with a smile and wish for them whole heartedly!

ppl without any sense of responsibility!!!!
I think the worst thing one can ever do is to be made to wait! That’s the worst treatment one could ever give to either friends or loved ones or simple anyone. It has been often said that the best thing to do while waiting is to go and do other things to kill time. But whatever it is, one should have a sense of responsibility to inform others of their delay in arrival. They should think of the consequences of what their late arrival could cause the other party to lose. The least they could do is to call or send text message to let the other party know and not let them wait in vain.
Tsk tsk. Why do people simply prefer to ignore how other party would feel and not bother [“hack care” in Singapore slang] about informing.
Sigh!
What shall I do with these people without having any sense of responsibility!!!!arguhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Gift of Love
Gift of Love by Mother Teresa
Life is an opportunity, avail it. Life is bliss, taste it
Life is a dream, realize it. Life is a challenge, meet it
Life is a duty, complete it. Life is a game, play it
Life is costly, care for it. Life is a wealth, keep it
Life is love, enjoy it. Life is mystery, know it
Life is a promise, fulfill it. Life is sorrow, overcome it
Life is a song, sing it. Life is a struggle, accept it
Life is a tragedy, brace it. Life is an adventure, dare it
Life is luck, make it. Life is life, defend it
well on this poem, my view is simple, life is like that, so wat to do, live like tat lor..right? :P

About this little thing call LOVE
Love s a feeling which encompass whole of body, mind and soul.
Often than not, love come with conditions. Perhaps being so humans as we all are, when we love someone, we give it with “terms and conditions” in the hope that we too will be loved the same way as we do for the other half. Often than not, love is never a fairy tale item nor is it fair and balanced. You either love more or less but can never be equal to the same amount which the other party has for you. But whatever it is, I am glad for existence of this special feeling. Even if I am not being loved, at least I can still love someone. And hopefully someday I can love un-conditionally and in return being loved in the same way..to the day I am hoping for this little thing call love to come by.. I will be waiting..

happy is for me to wish all of U
Although 14th of Feb has been set to celebrate in remembrance of Mr Valentine and also for love, it is known most commonly as a day for lovers. However, I beg to differ this latter view of such a day. In my opinion it is a day for celebration of love. Love in the form of any shape and sizes. Love for friends, love for spouse, love for family, love for parents, love for siblings, love for children and lastly most importantly for loved ones. Many a times, parents, siblings and friends are often left out on such a day as most will just focus on their other halves, showering them with gifts, flowers and sumptuous meals.
So I would like to call onto those who get to read this post not to left your loved ones out on such a day. Do remember to say a loving word or two, if possible shower them with a card or small gifts.
And I would like to wish all my friends, my family and my loved ones a very happy valentine day!
Wishes for all of you to have abundance of love, joy and happiness!

V-da": no of roses mean
Choosing the right colour is important, but the number of flowers too have their own say!!! Check it out!!
1 Rose:
Love at the first sight. The single rose, whatever its color, depicts utmost devotion to a single person. "All my deepest affections are concentrated in you".
2 Roses:
Mutual feelings, especially if they are red in color speak of two people who are deeply in love and together form their own happy little world.
3 Roses:
Stand for the three words in "I Love You", and seek to convey this very simple yet powerful message
5 Roses:
I love you very much
6 Roses:
I love you, I miss you. Speak of the need to be loved and cherished.
7 Roses:
I'm infatuated with you
9 Roses:
Together as long as we live
10 Roses:
You are pretty
11 Roses:
You're my treasured one. To assure someone that he or she is truly and deeply loved.
12 Roses:
Be my steady
13 Roses:
Forever friends. Also indicate that there is a secret admirer waiting to be discovered.
15 Roses:
I'm really sorry

V-day: Right color to convey right words :P
Choosing the right colour to say the right words:
Red
The creative spirit of love.
True love stronger than thorns.
True red is the lover's rose.
Amaranth red: long standing desire
Cardinal red: sublime desire
Carmine: deceitful desire (not true to color)
Fieryred: flames of passion.
Yellow
it is given as a sign of friendship, sometimes as a sign of sympathy.
It is the rose of familiar love and domestic happiness.
Loyalty, penetrating and platonic love.
Able to captivate secret thought, love stronger than death.
white
Loyalty, penetrating and platonic love. Able to captivate secret thought, love stronger than death.
pink
Grace, gentility, elegance and refinement.
The rose of sweet thoughts.
purple
Purple adds enchantment.
Can be transcendental. Possible need to proceed cautiously.
Purple can indicate opulence or majesty.
orange
A warm color that says, I am proud of you.
blueFantasy and impossibility.
Hoping for a miracle and new possibilities.
Many people have a quest or a fascination for blue roses. I
black
The color of the crone, the wise lady of death.
The promise that soon you will know something you did not know before.
Some see it as a bad omen.
Death of fixed thoughts or ideas.
Signifies a rejuvenation on the horizon.
May not be understood as a gift.
