lessons

A teacher teaches us lessons first afterwhich we takes the exam.
Life takes the exam first, and then teaches us the lessons ...so..
its more important to handle life exam then that of what is being taught by teacher because most of the times, there is no such thing as second chance for us!
What to do..but Keep Learning..

happiness..

We tend to forget that..
Happiness doesn't come..
As a result of getting something we don't have,
But it rather comes..
by recognizing and appreciating all that we have. .
But then again, when one has little
can I still be content and achieve happiness?
:P

mistakes in LIFE

Mistakes are lessons of wisdom. When you make a mistake, don't look back at it for long.
Don’t let regret beget you!Take the lesson and move on.
Move forward to the future where there is new chance to start all over again.
Although the past cannot be changed; How to shape the future is still in your hands.
So even if you fall, get up, force yourself up and walk on…
The new road, with new adventure of unknown awaits you

my fav sai sai song

this is the very first song of sai sai which i came to know of.

i am not particularly a "sai sai" fan but i am ok with some of his songs.

but whatever it is, i really like this song "nway ya thi mha lan khwey"

perhaps because the protaganist in the song is similar to my character who loves to wear brocade slipper (kar di pa pat net), has long pig tail and wear burmese facial powder! :P ek...

being understanding

The art of being understanding can entail a lot of aspects. And just like any other forms of art, the learning process is hard and tedious. Even after repetitive painful lessons, it is not guaranteed that one has picked up the skill. Well, frankly speaking until now I have yet to master this skill. But from what I have learnt after recent events was that one must be able to overlook certain things and have loads of ignorance for things which might cause negative feelings or cause to have prejudice.

I realized that sometimes I need not be so impatient or overly possessive in my thinking or people I care and treasure. What I have found out for myself lately was that I need not be stubborn over certain believes and perceptions of mine. Because if I look at things from another angle, in a more positive way, with a little dose of patience, it turned out that things are not as bad as I believed them to be. In fact, I was happy and content. I was some sort enlightened with the understanding that people even with their defects which can be so hateful at times are good by nature. And me being of human kinds fall into such category. And if I expect a little less, have patience a little more with the right amount of ignorance and the mentality to overlook, I can be more understanding to people I care for and love!

Life and A Cup Of Coffee ~

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember there is always time...to..

"
A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an emphatic "yes." The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed. Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.

The golf balls are the important things. Your family, your children, your faith, your health, your friends, and your favourite passions. Things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter. Your job, your house, and your car.

The sand is everything else. The small stuff. "If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you.
Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your partner out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand."

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."

win or lose ..ur choice

It seems that argument wins the situation but loses the person..
..how true it is!..Because the situation stand pale compare to the person whom u are arguing with! No one can be as important as Ur loved ones..
So...never argue with your loved ones;
Winning is not an issue. Neither is the one who get to say the last word is the ultimate right one! It is HE who is smart to keep the last word unsaid, remain silence without giving any harsh word spoken in times of anger and frustration and stress..

sharing some thoughts..

pls be considerate!

I believe strongly that when someone seeks help from another, it is only because she or he is in real need of someone's assistance to aid her in someway or something. it is only being helpless and desperate that one would approach for help.
Coz I have met not just once but on a few occasions of people who simply lack that "goodness" in them! these inconsiderate people, if can't lend a helping hand, will not take the initiative to inform the help-seeker. They will wait till last minute when the seeker simply is at the desperate stage, say a word or two of apology for their incapability. They will not however inform the person before hand if they could not help. Neither will they reply sms nor answer call of the seeker. I was wondering why these people has to be so "evil-minded" as to simply ignore the seeker. Surely if they are busy, there is always a time to inform the desperate party either by text message or a call or a mail. if they could do that in time, then I m sure the seeker would have ample time to seek out help in other ways or approach another person. Because of these people i wonder how much time will be wasted, how much effort will be gone down the drain, how much agony and worry one has to bear just because someone simply choose to ignore despite their promise. i m sure if one cant keep the promise no matter how major or minor is the word of promise, one should inform the involved party so that other arrangement can be made. i really could not understand why people choose to act in a cowardly manner, using such inconsiderate tactics in order for them to reject away the earlier offer of help.
Thus i call on to those who are being asked to help to inform the seeker earlier, as early as possible if one cant commit himself or herself to help out...
please please don't cause any trouble for others by simply ignoring the other party because you never know how much harm you can bring by your inconsideration. and well you never know when you might need help some day.. don't you agree?

Warren Buffet ~

There was a one hour interview on CNBC with Warren Buffet, the second richest man who has donated $31 billion to charity. Here are some very interesting aspects of his life:

1. He bought his first share at age 11 and he now regrets that he started too late!

2. He bought a small farm at age 14 with savings from delivering newspapers.

3. He still lives in the same small 3-bedroom house in mid-town Omaha , that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says that he has everything he needs in that house. His house does not have a wall or a fence.

4. He drives his own car everywhere and does not have a driver or security people around him..

5. He never travels by private jet, although he owns the world's largest private jet company.

6. His company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns 63 companies. He writes only one letter each year to the CEOs of these companies, giving them goals for the year. He never holds meetings or calls them on a regular basis. He has given his CEO's only two rules.

Rule number 1: do not lose any of your share holder's money.
Rule number 2: Do not forget rule number 1.

7. He does not socialize with the high society crowd. His past time after he gets home is to make himself some pop corn and watch Television.

8. Bill Gates, the world's richest man met him for the first time only 5 years ago. Bill Gates did not think he had anything in common with Warren Buffet. So he had scheduled his meeting only for half hour. But when Gates met him, the meeting lasted for ten hours and Bill Gates became a devotee of Warren Buffet.

9. Warren Buffet does not carry a cell phone, nor has a computer on his desk.
His advice to young people :
"Stay away from credit cards and invest in yourself and Remember:

A. Money doesn't create man but it is the man who created money.
B. Live your life as simple as you are.
C. Don't do what others say, just listen to them, but do what makes you feel good.
D. Don't go on brand name; just wear those things in which you feel comfortable.
E. Don't waste your money on unnecessary things; just spend on things that you really need.
F. After all it's your life, then why give others the chance to rule your life."

mastering change rather than allowing it to master you

I have learnt that ,...

sometimes things might not be what you wanted or expected them to be. And these things can come one after another in sequences to test your ability to handle them, to let you learn patience, let you pick up social skills to mingle among those whom you would rather stay away from if given choice! Perhaps, you cannot control what happens to you, but you can control your ATTITUDE toward what happens to you, and in that, you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you. ..one must not forget to relax in life and let loose of thyself in this fast paced stressful life....

Frequently Asked Questions About Christmas

Frequently Asked Questions About Christmas

Q: If Santa doesn't have to age, then why has he become old?
A: He only appears to be old. He's an undercover kid.

Q: How can a sleigh possibly fly through the air?
A: If you were being pulled by eight flying reindeer, wouldn't you fly too?

Q: Why do we wish people a "Merry Christmas" instead of a "Happy Christmas"? A: The two are about the same, but with "Merry Christmas" an extra twinkle is seen in the eyes.

Q: Why is a Christmas tree that has been chopped down called a "live Christmas tree?"
A: It's dead but doesn't know it, and yet it's having the time of its life .

Q: Why do we wrap our Christmas gifts with paper?
A: Because we like to see surprise and joy (real or kindly faked) in the recipients.

Q: How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?
A: Nowadays, only four angels can dance there.
Formerly there was no limit, but OSHA passed the Angel Safety Law recently, which also requires that the pin must be inspected twice each year for structural defects.

Q: How many gifts can Santa Claus's bag hold?
A: One less than infinity.
Why one less? Because there's a limit to everything.

Q: How could a star that is high in the sky lead the Wise Men to a tiny manger on the ground?
A: Wisely, toward the end of their journey they asked directions from someone on the road. Had they not been so wise, they might have missed the manger by several hundred miles. (That person on the road has never been identified.)

Q: Is there really a Mrs. Santa Claus?
A: The best way to know for sure is to ask Santa Claus next time you see him.

Q: Why do we hear so many bells at Christmas time?
A: Because so many people ring them.

Q: Why do so many people ring bells at Christmas time?
A: For the poor, for the joy, and because a bell can say what words can't say.

Q: What type of words can't be said?
A: The moment you wake up on Christmas morning, listen carefully. You may hear then what words can't say.

He said, "God?"
God responded, "Yes?"
And the Guy said, "Can I ask a question?"
"Go right ahead", God said.
"God, what is a million years to you?"
God said, "A million years to me is only a second."
The man wondered.

God said, "A million dollars to me is a penny."

when i m gone ~

Today, i got the chance to catch a burmese vcd with the title " ...."which i cant seem to remember..but the main casts were the ever-looking-boyish min maw kun and the innonce-looking-sweet ain dra kyaw zin.. about life..and death..which reminds me once again of how fleeting life can be. i might be gone anytime and when that time eventually come..i think..i would have something good, something memorable, something bad, something evil, something worthwhile ..a little of something enough to leave some memory of me behind.
i wish it would be this way..and when that day comes, i shall wear a smile and greet my death ...i shall..someday..

MEMORIES
I’d like the memory of me
to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an after glow
of smiles when life is done.

I’d like to leave an echo
whispering softly down the ways
of happy times and laughing times
and bright and sunny days.

I’d like the tears of those who grieve,
to dry before the sun
of happy memories
that I leave when life is done.

love is...

..

it's " Infatuation "

If you love some one because you think that you shouldn't leave him because others think that you shouldn't ...

then it's not love

..

it's "Compromise"

If you love some one because you have been kissed by him ...

then it's not love

..

it's "Inferiority complex"

If you love some one because you cannot leave him thinking that it would hurt his feelings ...

then it's not love

..

it's "Charity"

If you love some one because you share every thing with him ...

then it's not love

...

it's "Friendship"

BUT...

If you feel the pain of the other person more than him even when he is stable and you cry for him ...

that's "LOVE"

If you get attracted to other people but stay with him without any regrets...

that's "LOVE"

If you let him go knowing that he has to go but he doesn't want to ...

that's "LOVE"
is that so?................................
